![]() That is pretty much it when it comes to Boomie macros for now. Super useful in PvP, so if you enjoy that kind of thing, this one is highly recommended! You can also mass root a group of enemies, followed by the silence, with this handy little Roots Beam macro that stops all the other casts and casts these spells if they’re available.įinally, there’s Cyclone, which allows you to cast Cyclone on your mouseover target. This is a lot more simple than clicking and tabbing on players in the middle of a fight, so it’s definitely recommended. You can also cast Regrowth, or Rejuvenation depending on your talents, by mousing over your ally’s bar or body, by taking advantage of the healing macro. It’s super useful if you’re, let’s say, in the middle of an attack, but you want to protect your tank, without changing the target yourself. ![]() This one casts Thorns on your friendly target, or on a friendly target of your target, or on your mouseover target, assuming they’re not dead. It helps in PvP, and as that’s what I usually do as a Druid, I use it a whole lot (and you should, too!). ![]() If you’re out of combat, you’ll go into Prowl and Cat form. Basically, it works in a way that it casts Shadowmend if you’re in combat. The next one is a bit of a wacky one and I personally enjoy it, but it’s in no way necessary. ![]() cast exists, exists, harm, nomod] Starsurge Starsurge Therefore, if there’s any particular macro I recommend as a must, it’s this one. That alone makes a huge difference in your momentum, and that’s why this is one of those macros that can get you to deal more damage. This one is pretty sweet, as it removes the frustrating feeling of you being in the middle of a cast you’ve changed your mind about, having to move to interrupt it, and then casting Starsurge. Then, there’s the Starfall macro, allowing you to cast Starfall wherever your mouse is pointing at anything within your range.Īnother one I highly recommend is the Starsurge macro, which essentially cancels your next queued spell in order to cast Starsurge. This is more reactive than you waiting for your cast to go off before shapeshifting and starting to grind Rage for your defensive abilities. cast next one is a defensive macro for Bear Form, and it stops the spell you’re casting, while getting you straight into Bear form. So that means you can off-dot everyone and still fire off Starsurge on your main target, which will usually be the largest and/or the beefiest in the pack. Essentially, you’re able to cast Moonfire or Sunfire on any target in range that you mouseover, without actually changing the main target. This macro is made for both Moonfire and Sunfire separately, but they work in the same way. The next two are pretty cool, as they don’t require you to tab between your targets as much as you used to. script SendChatMessage(“You have been INNERVATED, use it well!”,”WHISPER”,nil, UnitName(“target”)) This actually helps a lot, because your healer will be aware of the free mana and will be able to utilize this in the best possible way. cast Remove CorruptionĪnother one is the Innervate macro, and this one I find particularly handy, as it also announces your Healer that they’ve been Innervated. cast next one is Remove Corruption, which pretty much does the same thing, but the difference is that it’ll remove curses from a friendly target that’s alive, and if there’s nobody around, then that’s you. This is why I mentioned Healbot as a great addon to go along with your macro business. The first macro that I wanna mention is for Rebirth, which will allow you to cast Rebirth on one of your fallen friends by mousing over their corpse, or even better, their nameplate, and then casting the spell. This is something a lot of fresh players worry about and that’s why they don’t use Marcos, so I just wanted to get that out of the way.Īlso, these ones are not all the macros that exist, and there are plenty of lesser-known ones that I won’t be going over, as these are the most simple, effective and beginner-friendly ones I could think of. I highly recommend some sort of group-frame-bar-manager-addon thingy (Healbot is my go-to!), that you can use to hover over your friends’ nameplates and cast more easily.Īnother thing I should mention is that these macros are 100% safe to use you’re not breaking any Blizzard rules whatsoever. If you’re looking for some super simple, yet effective macros that will improve your gameplay, while being macro beginner-friendly and safe to use, you’re in the right place. Boomies are one of the most simple specs to play these days, but that doesn’t mean it can’t get any easier.
